Due to allergies, I'm looking for a vanilla that is free of corn.

It sure is! The vanilla is grown and produced in luscious southern Mexico. It is then imported in mass and bottled here in the U.S. Why bottle it here? By importing then bottling here, the consistency of the vanilla can be verified and tested before it is bottled. This is an FDA approved process. Bottom line: The vanilla is raised and produced in Mexico then bottled according to U.S. food standards.
There are many different types of vanilla out there. Obviously we prefer natural vanillas over imitation vanillas.
Madagascar vanillas and Tahitian vanillas are both excellent. They have rich and full flavors.
But of all the flavors, we do have a preferred vanilla: we recommend Blue Cattle Truck Trading Company authentic Mexican vanilla.
Vanilla colors range. Most of them range from a medium to a dark amber color. Many of the bottles that vanilla comes in are clear, so pictures accurately show the vanillas true color.
If it is kept out of direct sunlight, and in a cool place, vanilla will last for several years.
Unfortunately, many vanillas contain a slight amount of corn syrup. Usually about 1% corn syrup. This is added for consistency. We are doing more research into this to find vanilla with no corn syrup.
